What’s wrong with cupping?

There are various reasons why cupping is not adsorbed, such as local pressure, site, speed, body position and distance between cans. Cupping is a method of using the can as a tool, utilizing combustion, pumping and other methods to induce negative pressure inside the can to adsorb stasis points or painful areas on the body surface. The reasons why cupping can not be absorbed include: 1. Pressure: 95% alcohol should be used, water vapor should be avoided inside the can, and the stay time should not be too short. 2. Part: choose the part of cupping which is rich in muscle, elastic, less hairy and without bone bump, in order to prevent the canister from being difficult to be adsorbed and easy to be dislodged. 3. Speed: the operation of cupping should be steady and fast. 4. Position: generally use the supine position, prone position. Do not move the position after cupping. 5. Distance between cans: When cupping several cans at the same time, the distance between cans should not be too close, otherwise it is difficult to adsorb. If cupping is needed, it should be operated by a professional doctor, so as to avoid improper operation and adverse consequences.
