Parkinson’s disease grading: 0=no signs 1.0=unilateral disease 1.5=unilateral disease and affects muscles in the mid-axis 2.0=bilateral disease, no impairment of balance 2.5=mild bilateral disease, slightly poor postural reflexes, but corrects itself 3.0=bilateral disease, postural balance impairment, positive posterior pull test 4.0=severe disability, but can stand or walk on his or her own 5.0=unable to get up, or lives in a wheelchair.
