Repositioning of a dislocated jaw

Dislocation of the jaw is medically known as “temporomandibular joint dislocation” and can be reset by pulling, pulling, pushing and lifting. The specific methods of reset are as follows: ① pull: two thumbs into the mouth, other fingers pinch the chin, forward traction for five minutes. ② Pull: keep the strength of the two thumbs, pull the mandible downward so that the mandible exceeds the joint nodes. ③ Push: Push the mandible backward quickly. ④ Lift: Hold the mandible with both hands and lift it upward suddenly so that the mandible enters into the articular glenoid to complete the reset. Since the mandible will open and close the mouth uncontrollably when the reset is successful, the person performing the reset operation must wear gloves or padded gauze to prevent being bitten. Since the reset process requires a certain degree of skill on the part of the operator, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital as soon as possible after the occurrence of dislocation of the jaw and have it reset by a professional doctor.
