Fasting blood glucose 4.9 need to control sugar

People with diabetes who have a fasting blood sugar of 4.9 mmol/L need to control their blood sugar, but healthy people with a fasting blood sugar of 4.9 mmol/L do not need to control their sugar.
The range of fasting blood sugar is 3.9~6.1mmol/L, and fasting blood sugar 4.9mmol/L is in the normal range. So for healthy people, fasting blood sugar 4.9mmol/L does not need to control sugar, but in order to maintain the health of the organism, it is still not recommended to overeat foods that are high in sugar, fat and calories.
If a diabetic patient with fasting blood glucose 4.9mmol/L indicates good glycemic control, he/she needs to continue to control his/her blood glucose under the existing treatment regimen, if he/she does not standardize the treatment because of good glycemic control, his/her blood glucose will rise again. Long-term poor glycemic control predisposes to chronic complications of diabetes.
It is recommended to go to the hospital if you have abnormal blood glucose values and under the guidance of a doctor.
