Symptoms of rotavirus

After being infected by rotavirus through the incubation period, patients may develop symptoms such as fever, weakness, and cough. A small number of patients will show signs of digestive disease such as diarrhea and vomiting. In more severe cases, patients may develop respiratory distress, metabolic acidosis, and shock at a later stage. Most of the patients can get better results except for the elderly and patients with underlying diseases who have more severe symptoms after infection.
