Patients with bronchitis rarely hemoptysis, but if bronchitis is caused by bronchial dilatation with infection, clinical symptoms such as coughing, coughing yellow sputum or even blood in sputum, hemoptysis and so on are likely to occur. Patients with bronchitis need to be given chest high-resolution CT examination as soon as possible after spitting blood, if the chest high-resolution CT suggests bronchiectasis, the diagnosis is clearer. If the high-resolution CT suggests that there is no other abnormalities in both lungs, further fiberoptic bronchoscopy is needed to find out whether the local bronchial tubes are obstructed by foreign bodies or new organisms, and biopsy can be given under the microscope. If the biopsy can be taken to the pathological tissues and the diagnosis of inflammation, tuberculosis, or tumors is confirmed, and the cause of the patient’s bleeding in the bronchial tubes will be more clear. If the bronchitis microscopic examination are negative, need to further do pulmonary arteriography, to understand whether the pulmonary thromboembolism caused by bronchitis with hemoptysis. In conclusion, hemoptysis in bronchitis patients is not a common phenomenon, and further examination and treatment are necessary to make a clear diagnosis.
