If your blood count is high during pregnancy, watch for signs of bacterial infection. For example, if there are symptoms such as cough, coughing, fever, abdominal pain and diarrhea. If there is an increase in white blood cells along with pain in the right side of the abdomen, promptly have an ultrasound to check for acute appendicitis. If the body does not have any uncomfortable symptoms and only a slightly high white blood cell is present, it is likely to be physiological.
