How to cure mild diabetes

There is no such thing as “mild diabetes”. A person is considered to be pre-diabetic if his or her blood glucose is higher than normal but does not meet the diagnostic criteria for diabetes. Lifestyle interventions (e.g., diet, exercise therapy, etc.) can be given to pre-diabetic patients to reduce the risk of developing diabetes. It is possible to normalize blood glucose in pre-diabetic patients through exercise. 1. Dietary treatment: Diabetic patients need to strictly control the intake of sugar in their diets, maintain small meals, low sugar, low fat and low salt diets, and consume fruits and vegetables with lower sugar content. 2. Exercise therapy: suitable exercise programs should be chosen according to the actual situation of the patient. Exercise mode, intensity and frequency should be combined with the actual condition of the patient. Generally, moderate intensity aerobic exercise is recommended, such as brisk walking, playing tai chi, cycling and so on. If the blood glucose level of pre-diabetic patients does not reach the standard after taking the above measures, they need to consider applying glucose-lowering drugs for treatment as prescribed by the doctor. Once abnormal blood glucose levels are detected, it is recommended to follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
