How glaucoma is inherited

Although the disease of glaucoma runs in families, there is no pattern to this inheritance, so there is no mode of inheritance, and there is no relationship with gender. This disease is an ophthalmic emergency, which is caused by a pathological increase in intraocular pressure due to various reasons, resulting in eye distension and pain, soreness at the root of the nose, loss of vision to varying degrees, and in severe cases, even dizziness on the same side of the head, headache, nausea, vomiting and other manifestations. This disease must be taken seriously because the longer the high intraocular pressure lasts, the greater the damage caused to the optic nerve, and this damage is generally irreversible, and once the optimal treatment period is missed, it is impossible to return to normal again. Therefore, once the manifestation of glaucoma occurs, must go to the regular hospital for standardized treatment.
