How to treat granulomatous tissue hyperplasia

Granulation tissue hyperplasia can be treated differently according to the specific conditions of the patients: i. If the granulation tissue hyperplasia in the wound is a normal phenomenon of wound recovery, it does not need special treatment; if the wound is close to healing, and still accompanied by excessive granulation tissue hyperplasia, it is necessary to carry out appropriate pruning, so as to avoid that the granulation tissue affects the healing of the peripheral skin. ii. Secondly, for severely infected wounds with abnormal proliferation of granulation tissue in the process of recovery, it is necessary to perform local excision of granulation tissue and send it to pathological examination. If cancer cells are found, it is necessary to carry out radical excision of tumor cells, remove all the proliferated granulation tissues, and at the same time, combine with local radiotherapy and chemotherapy, so as to avoid systemic metastasis caused by the tumor cells, which can endanger the patient’s life.
