When a toe breaks and becomes pus-forming, different treatments should be chosen according to the severity of the condition. If the break is small and shallow, and the pus is small, use iodophor or hydrogen peroxide to clean the pus-forming wound, and after cleaning, bandage the wound for regular medication changes. If the rupture is large and the pus is more, the wound needs to be cut open and rinsed repeatedly with hydrogen peroxide and saline, disinfected thoroughly and then drainage strips are placed, antibiotics are added for anti-infection treatment and the medication is changed regularly, and the patient’s blood sugar is monitored.
