Newborns can take Icozin vitamin AD drops. Our national regulations require that full-term babies start taking vitamin D at 400 units per day 2 weeks after birth until 2 weeks of age. Premature babies, babies with low birth weight, i.e. babies with birth weight less than 2500g, twin or multiple births can start taking 800 units of vitamin D per day 1 week after birth and change it to 400 units per day after 3 months until 2 weeks of age. In summer when there is more sunlight exposure, the dose of vitamin D can be reduced appropriately. In winter or in northern areas and in the presence of haze, the dose of vitamin D can be increased appropriately.
