The exact length of life in the middle and late stages of breast cancer is closely related to the stage, pathological staging and follow-up treatment of breast cancer, and it may be long-term survival or only a few years or even months, which varies from person to person and cannot be fully determined. Breast cancer is a malignant tumor and its incidence is increasing year by year. The basic treatments for breast cancer include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy and molecular targeted therapy. In general, patients with intermediate stage breast cancer can achieve radical cure after surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and endocrine therapy, and may survive for a long time. Patients with advanced stage of breast cancer have metastasis and can only do palliative treatment, and their survival period is mostly less than 3 years. Patients with intermediate and advanced breast cancer should actively cooperate with treatment, don’t give up, keep a good attitude, be alert to the adverse effects of chemotherapy and apply drugs to relieve the adverse effects in time to minimize pain and prolong the survival period.
