Early after the infection of Omicron virulent strain, the main symptoms are dry cough, fatigue, fever, fever is mainly low and moderate fever, the body temperature is about 37.3~38.5 ℃, in the early stage, the patient may also show nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, muscle pain, diarrhea and other symptoms.
The early symptoms of infection with the Omicron strain are similar to those of other types of neocoronavirus infections, and the main difference between Omicron and other types of neocoronaviruses is the difference in the strength of the infectiousness and pathogenicity.
In addition to the Omicron subtype, there are other subtypes of Neocoronaviruses such as Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta, all of which can show the above symptoms. Compared to the Omicron subtype, it spreads faster, is more infectious, and is relatively less pathogenic, but still poses a high risk to immunocompromised people, the elderly, and special populations with chronic underlying diseases.
If you experience the above symptoms and have a history of living in or close contact with a high- or medium-risk area, please contact your community or local epidemic prevention department in a timely manner, and actively cooperate with them for protection and follow-up diagnosis and treatment.
