Some patients with weakly positive proteinuria can be cured, but some may get progressively worse. The first one, such as physiological proteinuria caused by strenuous exercise, can improve on its own after rest. Secondly, if it is a self-limiting disease, such as acute glomerulonephritis or allergic purpura nephritis, because the disease has a tendency to heal on its own, most of the patients with proteinuria can get better on their own. Thirdly, if the urine protein is caused by kidney disease, the purpose of lowering urine protein can be achieved through the use of urine protein-lowering drugs. Commonly used urine protein-lowering drugs, including Prilosec, Sartan and Flavox capsules, can play a certain role. However, for patients with diabetic nephropathy or multiple myeloma and other diseases caused by urine protein, the treatment is relatively difficult and the condition may gradually worsen.
