The reason for this is that there are three common causes of ear blockage: First, there is something blocking the outer ear canal, such as cerumen embolism, foreign bodies in the outer ear canal, or water in the ear from washing hair or bathing. Second, it is a secretory otitis media, including acute otitis media and chronic otitis media, which can form exudate in the middle ear cavity and affect the transmission of external hearing, resulting in ear stuffiness and discomfort and hearing loss. Thirdly, acute otitis media is caused by inflammation caused by cold or cold, and retrograde infection from the eustachian tube into the middle ear cavity. In addition to combined ear swelling and hearing loss, severe pain and discomfort in the ear may occur, and serious ear drainage and perforation of the eardrum may occur, requiring symptomatic treatment. Diseases caused by blockage of the external ear canal can generally be restored to normal by clearing it. In the case of secretory otitis media, drainage promotion drugs are needed to promote the absorption of fluid and restore the function of the middle ear. In acute otitis media, anti-inflammatory and symptomatic treatment is given, and the inflammation can be controlled to restore normalcy completely.
