The difference between intestinal flatulence and intestinal obstruction is mainly manifested in the following points: 1, from the cause of intestinal flatulence is mostly seen in acute or chronic gastroenteritis, while the etiology of intestinal obstruction usually includes adhesive intestinal obstruction, strangulated intestinal obstruction, and mechanical intestinal obstruction. 2, from the clinical manifestations, intestinal flatulence is mainly manifested as abdominal bloating and discomfort, and intestinal obstruction mainly manifests itself as abdominal pain, abdominal distension, and it can be accompanied by anus stopping defecation and exhaust. Meanwhile, nausea and vomiting can occur.3. From the examination, intestinal flatulence can be seen in abdominal plain radiography without liquid-liquid plane, while intestinal obstruction can be seen in obvious gas-liquid plane whether it is complete or incomplete intestinal obstruction, adherence, strangulation, or mechanical intestinal obstruction in abdominal standing plain radiography.
