What are the precautions after tooth extraction?

  1. Remove the cotton roll or gauze from the mouth after 40-60 minutes of clenching; 2. Do not rinse the mouth or spit out the saliva repeatedly when there is blood in the saliva for 3-5 days; 3. Do not lick the wound after extraction and do not suck the extraction socket; 7. Do not smoke or drink for 1-2 days after extraction to avoid secondary bleeding and wound infection due to the release of blood clots in the extraction socket; 8. After extraction, the lateral part of the extracted tooth will gradually swell within three days after extraction and gradually subside after the fourth day, and there will be green or yellow bruises on the skin of the corresponding part of the jaw; 11. The symptoms of transient fever, discomfort or fatigue within the second or third day after wisdom tooth extraction are normal post-extraction reactions; if the symptoms gradually worsen after the fourth day, please review in time.
