What’s going on with the high-density shadow in the right upper lung?

A dense shadow in the right upper lung is considered to be scarring from inflammation in the lungs, or tuberculosis or malignancy.
If the right upper lung hyperdense shadow is patchy, it is usually considered to be related to lung infection, suggesting that it is a calcified foci left by lung inflammation. Common in fever and cough caused by pneumonia, need to follow the doctor’s instructions to use amoxicillin, cephalosporin and other antibiotics antibacterial anti-inflammatory treatment.
If the dense shadow in the right upper lung is round or oval in shape, it is considered to be a nodule in the lung. Nodules smaller than 3cm are called nodules and masses larger than 3cm are called masses, both of which may be benign or malignant tumors, and need to be punctured and biopsied to confirm the diagnosis.
Dense shadows in the right upper lung may also be related to tuberculosis, which is caused by mycobacterial infection and is generally contagious. If left untreated, it may even cause permanent lung damage.
