Ganluo Sterilizing Dan is composed of Scutellaria baicalensis, Fei Talc, Calamus calamus, Huo Xiang, Sheng Gan, Yin Chen, Mentha piperita, and Lian Qiao. Its function is to benefit dampness and resolve turbidity, clear heat and remove toxins. It is used for treating dampness-heat syndrome of dampness-warmth (warmth disease caused by feeling dampness-heat) epidemic, which can be seen as fever and thirst, swelling and pain in the chest and throat, chest tightness and abdominal distension, limb soreness and fatigue, and short and red urination (small amount of urination with dark yellow color), and so on.
Lian Pu Drink is composed of Acorus calamus, Magnolia officinalis, Radix et rhizoma Pinelliae, Rhizoma Coptidis, Rhizoma Coptidis, Tempeh, Gardenia jasminoides and Rhizoma rehmanniae. Its function is to clear away heat and dissolve dampness, regulate qi and harmonize the middle (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach so as to make the spleen and stomach function smoothly). It is used for treating nausea and vomiting, chest and epigastric congestion (feeling of fullness and stuffiness in the chest and abdomen), thirst without desire to drink more, heartburn, drowning and redness, and diarrhea of dampness-heat syndromes.
