If fluconazole is used for the treatment of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis, induction therapy involves taking fluconazole every three days at a dosage of 150 mg each time, and usually requires three doses, i.e., fluconazole on days 1, 4, and 7, respectively, and then, for maintenance therapy, fluconazole needs to be taken orally at 150 mg weekly, which usually requires continuous treatment for six months. It is recommended that fluconazole can be used under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used for treatment without authorization. In addition, some patients may experience adverse reactions such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting after treatment with fluconazole.
