Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan (知柏地黄丸): composed of Zhi Mu (知母), Huang Bai (黄柏), Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata (熟地黄), Mudan Pi (牡丹皮), and Chinese Yam (山药), etc. This product can be used for the treatment of Yin deficiency with excessive fire. This product can be used for hot flashes (a burst of fever), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping sweating after waking up), dry mouth and sore throat, tinnitus, seminal emission, and short and red urine (small amount of urine with dark yellow color) caused by yin deficiency and fire exuberance (deficiency of yin essence in the body, resulting in hyperactivity of deficiency fire). The adverse reactions and contraindications of this product are not clear.
