How to treat pediatric tonsillitis

When a child’s tonsils become inflamed, he or she may experience a sore throat. Some patients experience increased pain when they swallow saliva. Younger children may also experience drooling. 1. Use of antibiotics. When children have tonsillitis, they should use penicillin. If you are allergic to penicillin, use other antibiotics. After determining the germs causing tonsillitis, choose another antibiotic. If it still does not improve in 2 to 3 days, use another antibiotic. 2. Topical treatment. Rinse the mouth with borax solution or other medication solution. Use herbal external paste method. When performing such operations, be sure to ask your doctor to avoid operating errors and more serious consequences. 3.Surgery. If the tonsils of small children do not have recurrent inflammation, it is best not to use this treatment. Most patients with multiple occurrences of pediatric tonsillitis have pathogens that never leave the body. This type of patient can be treated with surgery to completely remove the pathogens that are latent in the body. When a child has tonsillitis, he or she must rest in bed and not run around. Hydrate more and eat soft textured food, preferably a liquid diet. Pediatric tonsillitis is contagious, so try to keep children away from other children to avoid contagion.
