Hernias are most commonly seen as abdominal wall hernias, usually in the groin, navel, surgical incision, etc. It is a pathological process in which an organ or tissue of the body leaves the normal part of the body and enters into another part of the body through a hole or a weak link, which can be dealt with by means of surgical treatments and other means. The clinical symptoms of hernia are mostly subcutaneous lumps, also called hernia masses, which are caused by the pressure in the abdominal cavity leading to the expansion of organs or tissues in the body. The navel, groin and other parts of the human body have congenital holes or belong to the weak parts, in the case of increased pressure in the abdominal cavity is prone to organs and tissues bulging out of the displacement, so the general hernia occurs mostly in the above positions. If left untreated, the hernia will gradually increase in size and may become life-threatening in cases of incarceration and strangulation. Surgical treatment is usually recommended to repair the defect and treat the hernia. Some patients who may not be able to undergo hernia surgery due to their age or other reasons can use hernia supports and other means to alleviate the symptoms. Hernias usually occur in the navel, groin, and other areas of the body where there are congenital holes or weak areas that are susceptible to the displacement of organs and tissues when the pressure in the abdominal cavity increases.
