Si Mu Tang Oral Liquid is composed of four medicines: Citrus aurantium dulcis, Citrus aurantium dulcis, Wu Yao (乌药) and betel nut (槟榔), which have the efficacy of smoothing qi and descending rebelliousness, eliminating accumulation of stagnation, and relieving pain.
Sifuotang Oral Liquid can be used for the treatment of milk and food stagnation in infants and young children, which is characterized by abdominal distension, abdominal pain, crying, anorexia, diarrhea or constipation; qi stagnation in middle-aged and old-aged people and food stagnation (food stagnation in stomach due to indigestion of food), which is characterized by distension of epigastrium, abdominal pain, and constipation; as well as for promoting recovery of intestinal and gastrointestinal functions after abdominal surgery.
The adverse reactions of Si Mu Tang Oral Liquid are not exact, intestinal obstruction, postoperative gastrointestinal surgery, intestinal tumors, and pregnant women are not allowed to take the drug.
