Murraya is neither cool nor hot, it is cold. The ink dry lotus belongs to traditional Chinese medicine, is the dry above ground part of the channellus intestinalis of the daisy family. It is sweet, sour and cold in nature, and enters the liver and kidney meridians. It has the effect of nourishing the liver and kidney, cooling the blood and stopping bleeding (cooling and moisturizing the blood to prevent bleeding). It is used to treat premature whitening of hair and loosening of teeth due to deficiency of liver and kidney yin, and to treat vomiting of blood and bloody diarrhea due to deficiency of yin and blood heat. It is cold in nature and is not recommended for people with weak stomachs (loose stools) and cold kidney qi.
