Radix Angelicae Sinensis and Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Fructus Jujubae, Cinnamon, Eggs and Brown Sugar Effects

Angelica sinensis, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, red dates and cinnamon used together have the effect of nourishing and activating blood, tonifying the spleen and lungs, and nourishing the heart and tranquilizing the mind. Eggs and brown sugar belong to food, generally do not have the effect of traditional Chinese medicine, but have some nutritional value.
1. Angelica has the effect of tonifying blood, regulating menstruation and relieving pain, moistening the intestines and relaxing the bowels. It is used for blood deficiency and atrophy, dizziness and palpitations, irregular menstruation, menstrual cramps, dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain with coldness, intestinal dryness and constipation. It is not recommended for those who are full of dampness (too much dampness leading to fullness and discomfort in the spleen and stomach) and those who have loose stools.
2. Radix Codonopsis Pilosulae has the effect of strengthening the spleen and lungs, nourishing blood and promoting the production of body fluid. It is used for deficiency of spleen and lung qi, poor appetite and tiredness, cough and asthma, deficiency of qi and blood, yellowish color, palpitation and shortness of breath, and thirst due to injury of body fluid. It is not suitable for those who have solid evidence or heat evidence but are not deficient in positive qi, and should not be used together with quinoa.
3. Red jujube, i.e. jujube, has the efficacy of tonifying the center and benefiting the qi (treating qi deficiency by tonifying the spleen), nourishing the blood and tranquilizing the mind. It is used for spleen deficiency with little food, loose stools (thin and unformed feces), and women’s dirty agitation (upset and depression, sadness and wanting to cry for no reason).
4. Gui Yuan, Longan meat, has the effect of tonifying the heart and spleen, nourishing blood and tranquilizing the mind. It is used for deficiency of qi and blood, palpitations and dizziness (violent heartbeat, panic), forgetfulness and insomnia, blood deficiency and atrophy. Dampness in the fullness of the middle or have stopped drinking (water stays in the body), phlegm, fire is contraindicated.
5. Eggs are rich in protein and trace elements needed by the human body. Brown sugar contains sucrose, fructose, glucose and minerals. All can supplement the body needs.
