Can you drink tea during chemotherapy for rectal cancer?

Tea can be drunk during chemotherapy for rectal cancer, tea is relatively light and normal people can drink it, of course, it can be drunk during chemotherapy after recovery from rectal cancer, drinking tea will not lead to nausea and vomiting, nor will it lead to tumor recurrence or metastasis. Most of rectal cancer patients will have gastrointestinal reaction during chemotherapy, and those with light reaction may show anorexia, loss of appetite and nausea. If the patient’s reaction is heavy, he/she may have more nausea and vomiting, and may not be able to eat in the first 3 days, and may vomit whatever he/she eats. Therefore, in the first 3 days, the patient should take fluids or semi-fluids as the main food as much as possible, and eat less and more frequent meals, and increase the nutrients as well as increase the water, and then the gastrointestinal reaction will disappear gradually in 3-5 days, and then he/she can gradually transition to the normal diet.
