Left heart failure: left heart failure is characterized by stagnation of the pulmonary circulation, which may be manifested as dyspnea, cough, sputum, hemoptysis and other discomforts. 2. Right heart failure: right heart failure is dominated by blood stasis in the body circulation. Gastrointestinal stasis may manifest as abdominal distension, lack of appetite, nausea, and vomiting; pulmonary stasis may manifest as dyspnea; and blood stasis in the body circulation may manifest as discomfort such as hydrothorax, ascites, and edema. 3.
