What are the dangers of hypothermia?

Hypothermia is prone to circulatory disorders and renal hypoplasia. Hypothermia means that the body temperature is lower than the normal range due to decreased heat production or increased heat dissipation. Due to low body temperature, the body’s metabolism slows down, blood flow slows down, blood supply to the lower extremities is not good, and chills, cyanosis, and venous thrombosis of the lower extremities can easily occur. Due to low body temperature, circulating blood volume decreases, resulting in reduced renal perfusion, prone to renal insufficiency, resulting in urinary insufficiency or renal failure. If the child’s body temperature is low it is easy to cause neonatal scleroderma. Causes the swelling of the whole body tissues, serious organ failure occurs life-threatening. So hypothermia should pay attention to keep warm, if accompanied by other uncomfortable symptoms in time to go to the hospital to identify the cause of further treatment.
