In clinical practice, x-ray can only be used as a primary screening test to confirm the diagnosis of mediastinal and pulmonary lesions. If the location of the tumor is special or the size of the tumor is large, causing changes in the location or shape of the structures around the lesion, it can be detected by radiography. However, to further clarify the location of the lesion and determine the nature of the lesion, CT examination or other more advanced examinations such as MR or PET-CT are required.
