The performance of low brain IQ is mainly reflected in the comprehension, reaction, learning/expression ability, logical analysis, and behavioral actions that do not match their age (or slow development).
1. Comprehension/response/logical analysis: for the outside world/the things around, the comprehension cannot match their age/education level, the understanding is very shallow, less independent thinking; less reaction to the things happening around them, and the emotion is not too changeable with the change of external conditions.
2. Learning/expression ability: weak learning ability, poor performance (repeating a grade), not good at communicating with others (including relatives), difficult to express their own emotions and thoughts clearly, and their language ability lags behind that of their peers (need to exclude organic disorders).
3. Behavior/movement: clumsiness, abnormal behavior, some with motor disorders, may appear demented smile, sticking out the tongue, salivation, teeth grinding, crying and other behavioral actions, often with unconscious expressions. Often, the child learns to walk at a later time than the average child, and has difficulty in concentrating.
If the above symptoms are present, the patient should consult a doctor in time for genetics/endocrine/metabolic examination, head CT, electroencephalogram, etc. to identify the cause of the disease, and active intervention will be conducive to recovery.
