Radiotherapy is usually needed after chemotherapy for triple-negative breast cancer. Triple-negative breast cancer is a high-risk type of breast cancer, and patients generally cannot get good results with endocrine therapy and targeted therapy for HER2 gene, so patients usually use chemotherapy as the main treatment for systemic adjuvant therapy after surgery. For breast cancer patients with indication for adjuvant chemotherapy, radiotherapy can be started after completion of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. For patients with triple-negative breast cancer after breast-conserving surgery following neoadjuvant chemotherapy, radiotherapy should be given after treatment regardless of the treatment effect. As for triple-negative breast cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by modified radical surgery, it is recommended to make radiotherapy decision based on the patient’s clinical stage before treatment and pathological stage after chemotherapy, and the patient’s actual condition and physical status. Patients need to be evaluated by a professional physician to implement an individualized treatment plan and actively treat the disease to avoid delays.
