How often should eye exams be done

The interval between eye examinations is related to age and eye condition: 1. For premature infants, it is recommended that screening for neonatal retinopathy be done early after birth; for non-premature infants, it is recommended that visual acuity and refractive error be examined around the age of three and a half, and if there is no abnormality, it is recommended that eye examinations be done every six months to a year; 2. If amblyopia exists, it is recommended that it be reviewed once every two to three months after treatment; 3. For myopia, it is recommended that routine eye examinations be done once every six months; 4.
