Can an adnexal cyst cause a positive test paper test?

Adnexal cysts do not cause a positive test paper test, and a positive test paper mostly indicates the possibility of pregnancy.
Adnexal cysts are cystic swellings on the ovaries or fallopian tubes, and may also be found on the broad ligament or on other ligaments. Cysts are usually caused by inflammation, endocrine disorders and the ovaries themselves.
Clinically, the majority of adnexal cysts are benign, such as plasma or mucous cysts, chocolate cysts, fibroepithelial tumors and so on. Malignant cysts are characterized by rapid growth, usually bilateral, solid or cystic and accompanied by ascites.
Adnexal cysts do not usually cause a positive test. A positive test for adnexal cysts and menopause of more than one week suggests successful conception, and adnexal cysts do not show a positive reaction in the absence of conception.
It is recommended that patients with adnexal cysts who have positive test strips should go to the hospital as soon as possible.
