1. Heavy symptoms, affecting life and work, ineffective by non-surgical treatment; or heavy symptoms, unable to accept traction and other non-surgical treatment; 2. With extensive muscle paralysis, hypoesthesia and cauda equina damage, with complete or partial paraplegia; 3. With severe intermittent claudication, mostly accompanied by spinal stenosis; 4. Combined with lumbar isthmus discontinuity and spinal slippage; 5. For young and middle-aged patients with recurrent episodes, the indications for surgery can be appropriately relaxed in order to restore work capacity as soon as possible.
