How much amoxicillin to take at a time

There is a difference in the dosage of amoxicillin capsules for adults and children. For adults, it is 0.5 grams once and is given every 6-8 hours. It is not what is normally called three times a day. It is a time-dependent antibiotic, so it must be administered once every 6-8 hours, and the maximum dose per day should not exceed 4 grams. It should be less than 0.5 grams every 12 hours for patients with early renal impairment and renal insufficiency, and less than 0.5 grams every 24 hours for patients with advanced renal insufficiency. Pediatric dosing should be counted by kilogram of body weight, and the average pediatric should be given once every 8 hours, to be given at a dose of less than 40 mg per kilogram of body weight of the pediatric. For infants and children under three years of age, the dose should be given at less than 30 mg per kilogram of body weight, administered every 12 hours.
