Normally, the size of the ovary is (4×3×1) cm and the weight is 5-6 g. Enlargement of the ovary is usually seen in ovarian inflammation, having sex but not paying attention to hygiene, retrograde infection leading to inflammation of the endometrium, inflammation of the fallopian tubes, and secretion wrapped around the ovary can also cause ovarian enlargement. If there are symptoms, such as the patient manifested as stomach pain, no symptoms then do ultrasound shows simple enlargement, if there is no pathological signs, do not need to give treatment. There are physiologic and pathologic ovarian cysts, generally physiologic will disappear with the change of menstrual cycle. There are other relevant tests for pathology, including tumor marker test, which can be done by blood sampling for specific tests, and based on the tumor marker test to determine whether the enlarged ovaries need further treatment. If ovarian inflammation occurs, it will be treated actively. Tumors may be caused by inflammation, and with intervention, there may be less tendency to move in the direction of a tumor. Every year women should have a routine medical checkup, ultrasound is a given, to protect themselves.
