To treat a small flesh bulb that grows on the pubic hair of men and is painful when pressed, the cause of the condition needs to be identified in the hospital first. This symptom may be related to boils, sebaceous cysts, warts and other diseases, which can be treated by skin care, symptomatic medication, surgery, liquid nitrogen freezing, laser and other methods.
1. Boils: These are small, painful, hemispherical nodules, mainly caused by bacterial infections. A few mild boils can heal on their own and can be left untreated with only a good skin cleansing. Most patients can be treated with topical mupirocin ointment (occasional skin irritation); for those that have become pus-filled and ruptured, the lesion can be surgically removed.
2. Sebaceous cysts: these are found within the skin and have a rounded appearance similar to a small meatball, and can be painful to press when secondary to bacterial infection. Erythromycin ointment (occasionally with burning sensation) should be applied first for anti-infection treatment, and then the cyst can be removed completely through surgery after the inflammation subsides.
3. Condyloma acuminatum: this disease is caused by infection with human papilloma virus, the appearance of white, pink or reddish meatballs, prone to ulceration, bleeding, vesicles, although most patients do not have obvious symptoms, but individual patients may also have pressure pain. It can be treated by applying 5% imiquimod cream (with occasional stinging sensation), and can also be improved by liquid nitrogen freezing and laser.
There are various causes of these small meatballs, and the exact cause can only be determined after going to the hospital for diagnosis, and the treatment plan and the prescription medication used should be directed by a doctor.
