The diagnosis of lumbar muscle strain is based on experience. 1. Patients with a history of early injury or pain in the soft tissues of the lumbar region, who are often engaged in a certain job, such as office clerks, drivers, etc., and usually lack physical exercise, are likely to suffer from lumbar muscle strain. 2. The pain can be relieved after resting, kneading or applying heat, or can be relieved by mild activity, but the pain will increase after the activity is aggravated. 3. The pain area has fixed pressure points. X-rays usually do not show any obvious lesions, while MRI may reveal inflammatory hypersignals in the deep fascia of the lumbar region.
