How to perform a lymph node aspiration biopsy

Lymph node puncture biopsy generally involves puncture under ultrasound localization and aspiration of lymphatic tissue for biopsy. The procedure of puncture starts with finding the lymph nodes under ultrasound localization, selecting the puncture site, disinfecting and spreading the towel, then performing local infiltration anesthesia around the localization, cutting the skin about 0.3-0.5 cm, and puncturing the puncture needle in the direction of localization to obtain tissue. The puncture needle is withdrawn and the tissue obtained by puncture is subjected to pathological biopsy, and finally the puncture site is compressed with a sterile dressing to stop bleeding. Lymph node puncture biopsy is relatively simple, performed under local anesthesia, with less risk of pain and bleeding, and can clarify the nature of lymph nodes, and is widely used clinically.
