Hyperechogenicity in the cervical canal in ultrasound examination is not necessarily cervical cancer, it may be cervical polyp, cervical cyst, etc.. However, it does not exclude the possibility of cervical cancer, so it is recommended to do hysteroscopy, and samples can be taken for pathology at the same time of hysteroscopy to confirm the final diagnosis and rely on pathology. If it is a cervical polyp or cyst, polyp removal is recommended. If it is a smaller cervical cyst, treatment is not necessary for the time being, but regular annual checkups are needed to monitor the growth of the cyst. If it grows rapidly in a short period of time it is better to remove it early and do pathological examination. If it is determined to be cervical cancerous lesion, early surgery is recommended. After surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment should be carried out according to the patient’s health condition. It is recommended to pay attention to perineal hygiene and regular annual health checkups, and TCT and HPV examination can be done for the cervix.
