The radical cure for TB spheres is surgical excision, but for patients with newly formed TB spheres found for the first time, or during the course of anti-TB treatment, they are usually given standardized anti-TB treatment for at least six months, or even longer, to observe lesion absorption and other conditions. However, because TB globules are surrounded by fibrous tissue and the lesions tend to be relatively quiescent. Therefore, oral anti-tuberculosis drugs have little effect in reaching the lesions, which may gradually mechanize and turn into healing, or may lead to tuberculosis reignition and cause systemic toxic symptoms of tuberculosis. Therefore, it should be closely observed and preferably surgically removed, with regular anti-tuberculosis treatment for 2 months before surgery and continued anti-tuberculosis treatment after surgery, so as to achieve a clinical cure.
