Difference between Nutmeg Sishen Pills and Intestinal Inflammation Pills (肠炎宁丸)

The difference between Nutmeg Sishen Pills and Intestinal Inflammation Pills is that the drug ingredients are different, the efficacy of the main treatment is different, and so on.

(1) Nutmeg Sishen Pills: composed of tonic bone resin (made of salt water), wood spices, nutmeg (simmered in flour), poppy shells, chebulbulin, white peony, dry ginger, atractylodes macrocephala (fried in bran), Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum (made of licorice in water).

(1) Nutmeg Sishen Pill: It has the effects of warming the middle and dispersing cold (dispersing cold with medicine that warms the spleen and stomach), tonifying the spleen and stopping diarrhea. Used for bowel disorders, dawn diarrhea, diarrhea and abdominal pain, lack of appetite, yellow face and body thinness, lumbago and leg weakness.
(2) Intestinal Inflammation Pill: It is effective in clearing away heat, inducing dampness and promoting circulation of Qi. Used for acute and chronic gastroenteritis, diarrhea, pediatric indigestion.
Nutmeg Sishen Pills contain poppy husk, long-term use may produce dependence, should be taken under the guidance of a physician; athletes should be careful with Nutmeg Sishen Pills. Pregnant women are not allowed to use enteritis pills.
