This product is sweet and cold into the lungs, long for moistening the lungs and clearing the gold, if the treatment of yin deficiency and lung dryness (deficiency of yin fluid in the body, resulting in lung dryness without nourishment), dry and sore throat, dry cough with little sputum or blood in the sputum, etc., is often used in combination with dihuang, xuanshen, and chuanbeimu. It is often used with Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Radix et Rhizoma Platycodonis. It can also nourish yin and promote the production of body fluid, resulting in the lungs not being nourished, dryness and soreness of the throat with little phlegm or blood in the phlegm. This product can also nourish yin and promote the production of fluids, if the treatment of gastric yin insufficiency (lack of yin fluid in the stomach) caused by the stomach and epigastric vaguely burning pain, dry mouth and tongue, nada (no appetite, reduced food intake) dry vomiting, etc., often used in conjunction with Northern Radix Panax Ginseng, Dendrobium, Bamboo, and so on. This product is sweet and cold to nourish yin, bitter and cold to clear the fire, into the heart meridian, not only to nourish the heart yin, clear the heart fire, but also to remove the vexation and tranquillize the mind (to remove the vexation and stabilize the mind), if the treatment of yin and blood deficiency of palpitation (heartbeat accelerated, often accompanied by panic) insomnia, often used in conjunction with the birth of dijujube nut, and so on.
