Benign tumors do not need radiotherapy after surgery, because benign tumors are not malignant and do not belong to cancer, they are tumors with slightly active proliferation in normal tissues, and there are no obvious metastatic lesions, so simple surgical excision is sufficient, and the prognosis is better, no other treatment is needed, no special precautions are required, and no review is needed. For some special benign tumors, there is a possibility of recurrence, such as neurofibroma. If the tumor is not completely removed during surgery, it may grow again, but such growth cannot be called tumor recurrence.
