Causes of low platelet in advanced stage of liver cancer include influence of chemotherapeutic drugs, hypersplenism, bone metastasis of liver cancer and so on. 1. Influence of chemotherapeutic drugs: when chemotherapy is carried out in advanced stage of liver cancer, some chemotherapeutic drugs will inhibit the hematopoietic function of bone marrow, which will lead to the decrease of platelet, such as paclitaxel, etc. 2.
