Can you eat spicy food with a broken bone?

Spicy food is generally not recommended for fracture patients.
Fracture patients should avoid greasy, spicy and irritating food, because spicy and irritating food will increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract, cause diarrhea, abdominal pain and other digestive disorders, and affect the absorption of nutrients, which will indirectly affect the fracture healing. Therefore, it is not recommended that fracture patients eat spicy food.
Fracture patients’ diet should be nutritious, easy to digest, eat more protein-rich, high-calcium, multi-vitamin foods, such as eggs, fish and shrimp, lean meat, soy products, vegetables, fruits and other foods.
Fracture patients should choose a reasonable diet plan according to their own condition and needs. If they also suffer from diabetes, hypertension and other chronic diseases, they should formulate strict treatment recipes under the guidance of doctors to stabilize their condition and promote early recovery.
