Why do men have erections with the glans still pointing down?

Male erection glans still facing down may be caused by short foreskin tie, penile trauma, hypospadias and other symptoms, need to clarify the actual cause before relevant treatment.
1. Short foreskin tie: If the male foreskin tie is too short, during sex, it may cause the tie to be unable to erect and expand along with the corpus cavernosum and other tissues, thus exerting a pulling effect on the glans, causing the glans to face downward, and in serious cases, it may also lead to the tearing of the foreskin tie.
2. Penile trauma: This condition may lead to symptoms such as cavernous sclerosis and fibrous nodules of the penis, which will cause the glans to bend downward during erection, accompanied by strong pain.
3. Hypospadias: this condition is mostly seen in patients who have had urethral surgery before, during which the urethral opening needs to be moved upward, which will lead to the shortening of the urethra, and so there will be a situation in which the glans faces downward when the penis is erected.
It is recommended that men should pay attention to this situation and go to the regular hospital in time to avoid causing more serious damage.
