If the skin beneath the eye hurts, if the skin beneath it is combined with redness and swelling, and the sensation of tenderness or blinking pain is more pronounced, it is mostly considered a whealsore, which is a pinhole, also known clinically as blepharitis, which is a purulent inflammation caused mainly by bacterial infection of the lid gland. It can usually be treated with levofloxacin drops and Tobias eye ointment for anti-inflammatory treatment. Generally, small wheals will completely subside in about 1-2 weeks, while large wheals may require oral cephalosporin and other antibiotics for systemic treatment, which will take about 1-2 months to completely subside. If it is a pain in the lower eyelid, there is no obvious redness or swelling, and there is no pimples or herpes-like signs, it may be a compensatory sensation caused by eye fatigue, usually this pain will not last long and will not be severe, and will usually subside on its own after 2-3 days of rest.
